 eatest migrations in the world\, the Trust works year-round to protect and
  preserve nearly 10\,000 acres of critical habitat for endangered Whooping
  Cranes\, Sandhill Cranes\, and countless other species sharing fragile ri
 ver and prairie ecosystems.\n	\nLearn the history of the conservation group
 s that came together to save the Platte River and its vital habitat. One h
 undred years ago\, there were only 20\,000 Sandhill Cranes in the wild. To
 day\, there are more than 800\,000.
