The Weitz Community Engagement Center, Room 230, on the UNO Dodge Campus

Kyle Johnson, Landscape Maintenance Technician for Joslyn Art Museum, will be our featured speaker in February. Kyle’s goal in developing the outside gardens at Joslyn has been to make them safer for people and wildlife. He will discuss how he has incorporated the following elements into the gardens at Joslyn: the importance of native plants, encouraging biodiversity and minimizing fall landscape clean- up to leave food and shelter for birds. He will also discuss the birds his efforts have attracted to the high quality, natural habitat that he has been responsible for establishing at Joslyn Art Museum.
