Spring Creek Prairie: Climate & Culture
Join us for an afternoon on the prairie to discuss how the current climate crisis is affecting you and our communities and culture. Share your story, hear from others, and come together around shared goals for a healthy Nebraska.
We'll have snacks & beverages, but come early with a picnic lunch and join us at 12 noon, then at 1pm, speakers will kick off the conversation. Joining us will be Dr. Martha Durr, NE State Climatologist, to give us insights into how our climate in Nebraska is being affected. Then, we'll have several chances for smaller groups to chat, discuss, and share throughout the afternoon on how the climate crisis is affecting them and paths to hope for our shared future.
Free admission, space limited. Registration is open (link below).
Funding for these conversations provided by Humanities Nebraska.
