You are invited to join a field trip to ASO's Cuming City Cemetery Prairie on Saturday, June 8th. This cemetery prairie is the only known Missouri River Valley Loess Hills prairie in Nebraska. The site comprises 10 acres and is preserved in its natural state. The cemetery comprises only 10% of the preserve and dates from 1856. With 95 recorded native species of plants, this site is valuable to botanists and others dedicated to preserving remaining native prairie species. The site is approximately 3 miles northwest of Blair, 1/2 mile off Hwy 75 on County Road 14.

Please register for this free, public field trip! Detailed information on parking will be sent out closer to the date.
