April Meeting - Saline Wetlands: Beyond the Beetle
On April 12th we will be joined by wildlife photographer Ethan Freese as he discusses his current project - Saline Wetlands: Beyond the Beetle. This project is focused on showing the diverse assemblage of resident and migratory species that rely on saline wetlands beyond the Salt Creek tiger beetle.
While the tiger beetles are an important indicator species for this unique ecosystem, there are hundreds of other species that call these wetlands home.
The meeting will be held at 7pm in the UNO Weitz Community Engagement Center (map for parking is below). Meetings are FREE and open to the general public, so feel free to bring some friends.
