Field Trip - Birding Sarpy County
Bird Sarpy County with Clem Klaphake. For Birders looking for a brisk walk, seasonal serenity and bird-seedy characters.
Rendezvous at Shadow Lake on the south side of Shadow Lake Shopping Center, at 72nd Street and Highway 370. Look for us in the parking area on the east end of Shadow Lake, south of Schram Road on Lakeview Drive. From there, we will work our way west to spot ducks, geese, sparrows and other winter migrants. Bring binoculars and spotting scopes (if you have one), and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Lunch will take place wherever we are when the urge strikes
