(Rescheduled from original date of Sept. 20th due to expected thunderstorms!) On Sunday, Sept. 27th, beginning at 10 a.m., ASO will have a volunteer opportunity for those interested in taking part in land stewardship at the Glenn Pollock Prairie. The focus will be on cutting down and removing trees/shrubs that have become invasive and treating the stumps to prevent regrowth. This will help maintain the site as a grassland — which is essential to maintaining this unplowed native prairie ecosystem. Dress for the weather and bring water/any other items you might need. Please register if you plan to attend.
